One Word

I don't do resolutions anymore.

I see each day as a chance to make changes, to move forward, to do . . .to be.

I do, however, focus on one word throughout the year.

It's a practice in which I set an intention daily.

This year the word open appeared in my mind's eye.

I say appeared as this is what happens.

I meditate.  I pray.  I listen for the whispers.  I watch for the signs.

The word appears.

I embrace it.

Open.

I am.
