Right Said Fred

Right Said Fred sang "I'm too sexy for my shirt too sexy for my shirt".

Princess sings the tune of being too sexy for her fur these days.

Two weeks ago when it started to really warm up I decided she was going in for a lion cut.

I'm glad I did this last week because it is sizzling this week.

The first few days she looked cold. Today she looks relieved.

I still think she kinda looks like a bobble head and is sporting little old lady boobies.

The Manx breed is either tailless, has a "rumpy", a "riser" or in her case, a "stumpy".

I am not sure why they shaved her "stumpy" since most lion cuts leave the end of the tail full of fur.

Since they did there is not much she or I can do about it except embrace the "stumpy" in its shaved glory.

I can't wait to see what color her fur grows back in. As she has been aging and experienced the trauma of surgery and her teeth being cleaned, her fur has been peppered with silver/gray.

The days of her being jet black from head to toe are long gone.

Do you think they make Just for Cats like the Just for Men hair color?

Hmmm, maybe I am on to something here...

LOL, I showed my husband the pics of kitty from Twitter and he thinks I'm weird.
I tell him that I'm not the only one who cares for their cat.

Just because I tell him that "kitty wants this or kitty wants that."

He tells me "you don't know what kitty wants!"

Men...they don't know.

Princess looks cute.

It's amazing, but even in her shaved state she looks beautiful! Our black cat, Azrielle, now has white whiskers. She's 13 so I'm thinking she'll be getting a little grayer, too.
