My Space - Work in Progress

The guest bedroom is what I refer to as a work in progress.

Don't get me wrong.  It's ready for company but it is not decorated how I would like it to be.  Not yet at least.

I did have a roommate who occupied this room for about 3.5 months.  Circumstances, which I may talk about one day, led to her moving out.  Hence, the room became a guest bedroom.

So, for now this is what awaits you, when the aerobed is inflated and made that is.
High thread count sheets with one extra super firm and one medium firmness pillow.

The blanket is super warm and fuzzy, which is comfort in itself, especially on a cool aerobed.
If you come for an overnight visit, I will lay out your very own towels and tie a bow around them just because.

Since the current bed is so low, the nightstands I have in the garage currently would be too tall.  Therefore, I made a makeshift nightstand.
It is a cardboard box with a fleece blanket draped over it.

The nightstand holds a coaster, a bottle of relaxation linen spray, a travel size lotion, a lightly scented vanilla candle, an alarm clock, and a magazine.

Since this was set up for Fiwa's weekend visit in December, a Charlie Brown Christmas tree was added.

More often than not on weekends you'll also find delicates drying in this room.
I keep forgetting to put the kitty litter box back in the garage.  It was drying the pine cones I bleached for the post Christmas door wreath.

When the roommate moved out, she left the curtain rod up.  I already know what curtains I want to hang here.
So, there you have it.  The guest bedroom in its infancy stages.

Peace, Love, Laughter, and Soul Y'all.

It's nice to still have a project to work on, don't you think? I need decorating help, and have just the friend to help with it. Of course, I've been meaning to do it for years. Maybe this will be the one?

I agree Cheryl, a project is nice to have. Half of the fun for me is the hunt for the items.

This is your year to get it done!
