Guilty

I'm a texter.

I've been guilty of using text messaging in lieu of picking up the phone and calling someone.

I've also been guilty of sending a text message to someone in error. You know when a text was meant for person A but was sent to person B instead. I do this.

What I don't do is put that person on blast when they let me know I sent a text in error.

Apparently not everyone shares my texting etiquette.

Behold yesterday's exchange.

Unknown texter from area code 269: Wat was wrong wit you today on the bus?

Me: Think you have the wrong person

Unknown texter: Who is this? I didnt text you mo fo

Me: Yes you did. Wat was wrong wit you today on the bus? Sound familiar?

Unknown texter: No but sorry.

Yea, that's what I thought. I got your mo fo. *snort*

Peace and Love Peeps.

I am not much of a texter. I would rather pick up the phone for those 2 seconds just because it's just a lot i think to text it all out there...but that's me. jamie and the kids on the other hand? total texters...and they're fast too.

i dont think i've gotten a random text from anyone that i can remember.

abbie is such a texter mo you'd totally crack up laughin' at her...she texts so much she made a hole in one of her letters so we took her phone in to get a new one and the guy was like "oh yeah, this is an old phone look at some of the keys are missing" and we were all "no, it's less than 6 months-we have a teenage daughter" and they took abbie's phone and showed it to the guys in the back of the office and we could see 'em laughin' because of her phone.

crazy kids.

hmm..well, the word on the street is that if you follow Catholic faith you could give up texting for Lent.

Or,...here's a question: do you text your most closest friends a happy birthday message? Or do you take the time to call them?

Don't feel so bad..I'm obsessed with my online time. if texting is your hangup..you've got one savvy hang up Ms Mo. :)

How rude!! I don't text at all. In fact, I don't even know what my cell # is. I keep one in case of an emergency. I enjoy my solitude and I enjoy talking with people while I shop or walk through the mall. I think people who go through the check out talking to someone on the phone need to learn some manners. And those on head sets just look insane!

LOLOL!!! I think that is so funny..

I am a texter, too. I hate talking on the phone, texting is a great solution to that problem. But I too have sent texts to the wrong person, just yesterday, I sent one to DIL, when meaning to send it to son #1...ugh.

Happy Thursday. :)

I text but not when it requires too much back and forth. My BF is different. I will write her and tell her to CALL me yet she continues to go back and forth. One word in each text too, drives me crazy. Hah.
