Happy Monday

Happy Monday y'all!

If you were to look out my car window, this is what you'd see.

Rain drops.

Beautiful, on fire, fall foliage.

The wind chimes were blowing fiercely this morning too.

We are experiencing a typical fall Pacific Northwest day.

I'm bundled up in a pair of black slacks, my fashionable rain ankle boots, and a hooded cardigan topped off with a sparkly brooch to add sparkle to the gray accompanying the day.

What I would like to do is curl up on the couch with the love kitty under my fuzzy blanket, enjoy a warm mug of tea, and finish reading Eclipse but it is Monday and this means the start to the work week in my world.

Speaking of which, I need to get back to it.

How are things where you are? Cool, warm, sun shining, gray, windy...?

Peace and Love Peeps.

First. Damn you. I want a couple of drops of rain. I'm going to go outside and pour water all over me. I'm going to have Def Leopards, Pour Some Sugar on Me blaring in the background.

I wish! Warm and sunny here. I know I should be grateful, but I am longing for some fall-like weather.

Whycome it only rains during commute times?! WHY?

Bring the rain boots on though. I just got some new ones from Tarjay... they're very english rider looking.

61 and sunny here. I needed the AC on after my swim. Swimming gets my furnace pumping.

mondays suck.

just felt like saying that--three minutes ago my soon to be 7 year old was running around the house burping and screaming, "MY BALLS ARE ON FIRE!" not only were his "balls" not on fire, but well, Monday's started off sucking, and now it's turned into a not so bad day--ball suck and all, or should I say ball fire?

I dunno.

Ace,
I have not been able to get the image out of my head. Thanks! I picture a little Flashdance action too. HA!

Monica,
I will take a little bit of the sun and warmth. Please and thank you.

Fiwa,
This morning was craaaaaaaaazy. Ha. We have him and Mars hooked.

Kimmy and Crusty,
I raise my hands up in the best church fingers rendition and second your sentiments.

Cheryl,
I thought your neck of the woods was cool this time of the year too?

YES!!!! You're on Eclipse. This one was a nice break from the emotions from New Moon. More storytelling in this one. But things are going to keep heating up. So glad you're reading it. Oh, and my Monday, I played hookie yesterday!!!
