Recognize

First I would like to apologize if I offended anyone with previous Aries Spears bit.

It is, as we say in my circle, wrong on so many levels. Because a lot rings true, in my circle at least, I found it funny. The laugh out loud kind of funny. I'm thinking quite possibly not many others share the same thought process.

So please accept my apology if I offended you. Please?

Moving on, I'd like to take a moment to recognize some of the things which brought me happiness this Monday. A gray Monday to boot.

In no particular order
  • Jasmine seems to be eating on her own again
  • Princess brought her stuffed mouse to the bed early this AM to play
  • Said mouse was put back in her food bowl by the time I returned home; she trained herself and obviously gets it
  • The kitties and I have our health
  • My family (biological and chosen) are blessed to be in the same healthy category
  • Princess' lush fall/winter coat has arrived; it is sooooo fluffy and soft
  • I was able to spend downtime with some of my favorite peeps this weekend
  • The love and friendship of my peeps warms my heart and fills my soul with goodness sometimes I can't put the feeling in words
  • Candid conversations and being trusted with personal details of another's life humbles me. I am honored to be a trusted confidante.
  • Warm chai tea on a cool fall morning made from the comfort of my own home
  • Pumpkin butter on a toasted multigrain english muffin
  • "Toys" from the meeting last week being left in random places on my work desk
  • An impromptu "lets go see a movie" decision on a Monday night (Pretty Prince and I saw Wanted at the $2.00 discount theater)
  • Having the flexibility of being able to take a friend nourishment in the middle of the afternoon when they are feeling under the weather
  • The basics to not be taken for granted: a roof over my head, food in my pantry and fridge, a warm place to lay my head, indoor plumbing, money in my pocket and the bank, a job (which I enjoy), the ability to see, walk, talk, smell, touch, taste, hear, read, feel
  • Laughter

I could keep going but these are the ones that flowed from my fingers first.

Peace and Love Peeps. Peace and Love.

I loved his Michael Jackson impersonation..it's your blog, your humor, this is all about you, whether other people like it or not isn't your issue because this is all about you, and this represents who you are, your thoughts, your dreams, your humors,..

I think it's cool.

Happy Monday!

I'm listening to the LOLF post now and it is pretty funny!
Good questions and answers post too! I'm usually sooooo curious and nosey about people too. I should have asked something. I'll have to come back again with a question.
Great list!! Warm chai tea rocks as well as many other things you said.

Happy day, Mo!
Peace, M

Great list...but my favorite is:

# The love and friendship of my peeps warms my heart and fills my soul with goodness sometimes I can't put the feeling in words

It's wonderful isn't it! Unfortunatly, I'm having blog drama with one of mine. But I no longer call her a friend. Sad.
