I Need to Shave My Sweater

As you know I was on the road last week and not always, no matter how detailed my packing list is, I forget some items from time to time.

Last week was one of those times. Shocking I know but it does happen.

There was a need for dressing in multiple layers and wearing a wool sweater or two where I was last week.

Wool sweaters typically "pill" more than other sweaters, at least in my world they do.

I realized I needed to continue to de-pill the sweater I was going to wear Tuesday and failed to pack my fuzz busting sweater shaver for Monday night action.

So there we are. Monday night. Dotted line boss man is checking in. I'm asking the other front desk associate if I can have a disposable razor and share it was because I needed to shave my sweater.

I'll let you absorb that for a moment.

Mo stands in the hotel lobby telling people she needs to shave her sweater.

As soon as I realized how that sounded and an odd look or two was thrown my way, I loudly exclaimed it really was a wool sweater I needed to shave.

The associate checking in dotted line boss man says something to the effect that least it isn't dull working with me when he apologized for my comment and shared, in jest, at least she didn't have to work with me and not know what might fly out of mouth at any time.

For the record, it really was a wool sweater to be shaved.

Peace and Love Peeps.

This is a damn shame. You have too many "negro" tendencies. You shave those sweaters more than I shave my face.

geez, that's amazing! ha. We don't wear enough sweaters in Florida, so I usually have one or two a season, and that is it.

Wow, that sweater DID need a shave - I've never seen that much come off a sweater. Does it hurt it? Safe travels my friend - looking forward to see you!

Thanks for playing my favorite Heart song this morning!

Ace, It is a perfection thing.

Jen, Back in Texas I only had a few too but up here it is a whole other way of life.

Brad, It didn't hurt and once I got a system going, it actually was relaxing. This may be why so much came off. But hey, the sweater looks brand new now.

I love the randomness of the playlist. I am listening to Staying Alive right now.
