I like to color.
It is a small pleasure in my life.
A box of new crayons and a fresh coloring book make me giddy inside.
Coloring relaxes me. Makes me happy. Allows me to zone out.
It's been awhile since I had a coloring book and crayons to play with. I know it has been over a year for sure.
This Sunday I decided to change that. I picked these up at Wally World.
Feast your eyes upon the Crayola goodness.
This is just one box out of the 120 colors I can choose from. Ahh, the possibilities!
Who doesn't love the feel of a crayon in their hand? The soft wrapping? The feel of the wax as it glides over the page? The unmistakable smell that takes you back to a simpler time in your life?
My box of 120 came with a surprise inside and let me say, indeed it is a surprise. I have never seen a crayon sharpener quite like this one before.
Monday night I grabbed a glass of iced tea, went outside on my balcony, and as the wind chimes serenaded me, I got in touch with my inner child.
There is room at my table and plenty of crayons to share if ya' wanna join me one of these days.
Peace and Love Peeps.

Sounds heavenly.
I love to color too! And this reminded me that I haven't done it in awhile. I better get me some yummy supplies soon. Maybe I'll even let my grandson share and we'll make a picture together.
And if you PROMISE not to break them, I will share my gell and sparkly crayons with you. Pinkie swear.
Ahem... I was expecting to see a signature on here today.
I have lots of crayons. I just might need to pick up a book. Simple idea with lots of rewards. That's MO for you.
OH, I used to LOVE coloring when I was a kid. Then again when my children were little. It's been so long. Maybe one day I will pick up some new colors and colorbooks for myself; That way when my Godchildren come over, we can color together! Thanks for a long ago relaxing fun idea!
You're so fun! How I wish I could join you. Have you seen the book Praying in Color? Might be something you'd enjoy
