Finally Feeling Normal

Let's get back to Happy Mo. The sick, whiny, bitchy Mo I don't like for all those days on end and I am sure you are tired of her too.

I finally was able to keep some food down today. Me very happy.

Tonight I am going to have dinner with K but I won't be chancing it too much. Bring this girl a baked tater and let's call it good shall we.

Saw Pete for a bit today and he was acting a tad irritable. And peeps, I am looking extra special cute today, or so I have been told. My hair is all did. My makeup is applied well. I'm wearing a pinstripe pair of slacks, black stiletto heels, a starched white button down with a black fitted vest all topped off with the medium size hooka' silver hoops and there I am.

Boy howdy it didn't even seem to phase him. Guess we'll see what is up when we get together Thursday night.

Yea, you read that right. Thursday night. We aren't doing Valentine's Day. Hey, it really is all good.

I am not just saying that in an attempt to make myself feel like it is either. I am completely fine with not spending the day together.

See, here is how I feel about the day.

It's just another day on the calendar. It's an over commercialized day in which too many people place unnecessary expectations. If you need to set aside a day to tell those you love how you feel about them, then I feel you have underlying issues in your relationship.

Don't get me wrong here either. If you want to shower me with love and goodies I will take them but I don't need it to feel complete or feel loved. I may be in the minority on this but hey it's how I feel.

I told you I am more like a man than a woman didn't I? Guess that kinda' proves it huh?

Anywho, I have to get back to work. Hope things are good in your world.
