Thirsty Thursday

As most of you know, I have a local "Cheers" and regular Thirsty Thursday happy hour with some of the peeps most every week, especially when I am in town, don't have a date, and a certain someone is nowhere to be found.

Post sushi with the girls (Fiwa, Drea, and Mars), we (Mars and I) headed over for booty shaking music, a drink, lots of laughs, and good times. Always good times.

In attendance is anywhere from 3 to 15. Who is there varies from week to week as it is an open invite. This week we were 9 strong.

A surprise was waiting in the form of an out of town guest; a former regular until he was promoted and headed down south.

He was in town for the game. {Seemed like almost everyone I know was at this particular game} I'm glad we stopped by after dinner. Time with T is good for the soul.

Mars' hubby joined us too. I love my peeps. Oh yes I do.

The next morning, some of us continued the good times with brunch at a local diner.

Those biscuits are nothing short of amazing. So big. So scrumptious. So much food. I was unable to finish everything on my plate.

The biscuit, hash browns, egg, chicken fried steak with gravy, and OJ gave me the fuel needed for the rest of the day at work followed by the game Friday night.

That story is next up. For now, back to the grind I go.

Peace and Love Peeps.

Ah, brunch. Hmmmmm, diner. Awe, friends. Sounds PERFECT!!!! So cool you have a group of peeps. It gives me joy hearing you talk as you do. I have friends scattered but I am very thankful to have a best friend just a couple of miles away. Another best friend is almost 3 hrs away and the rest are in NY. No big groups though locally, or even small intimate groups really. Very cool for you!!!!!
