Pick up the phone, send a text, compose an email, mail a card...simply make an effort at contact.

Oh heck. I just did that this morning and instead of my father I got the wicked step "mother".

I picked up the phone and called.
I made a visit to see some peeps.
I sent an email.
Look at me...such an overachiever. I still have the rest of the week to go. LOL
