Today was one of those days in which happiness was abundant in my life.
It didn't come in the form of anything monumental but rather in the joy of living life.
Happiness today was in the small things:
- Laughing with co-workers
- Hugs from friends
- An unexpected kindness from an acquaintance
- Surprising someone with an early birthday gift they can enjoy during their upcoming vacation
- Feeling love from friends across phone and text messaging lines of communication
- Being able to wear jeans, a sweater, and Uggs to work
- A uninterrupted lunch with a friend
- Happy Hour with the crew and then some
- Being greeted by Princess with affection upon waking this morning
- Having Jasmine give lots of lovins' upon my arrival home tonight
- Being healthy
I hope you had a bit of happiness in your world too.

Nice. Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. Like sitting here on my couch listening to the wind chimes. Or reading most anything you have to say.
