It is already smokin' hot up 'round here.
Good thing I'm taking to being near the water today.
Heading north for some time in the sun with friends and family by choice.
We'll be partaking in 
I am sure the crab the boys catch in the pots won't be this big and Kayak Point isn't Deadliest Catch territory but I am pretty sure it's going to be tasty and a good time.
The races last night were a blast. More to come on that later. For now I need to go pack a bag, grab a cooler, and get my arse in gear.
I hope whatever you are doing today brings you a bit of joy.

what exactly is your heat wave?
it's been cold here...like 40's in the morning and 70's during the day. beautiful weather just cold for mid august.
off to a hot air balloon fest and getting the kids school supplies and clothes. tomorrow goin home to see my momma.

I can't believe the size of that crab. Amazing. I bet you had a fabulous day on the water. A great way to cool off, right?
