Day 1 and Counting

I'd love to tell you the girls are all getting along but hell to the N-O.

Princess has taken up residence in the hallway and is doing her best imitation of a wild cougar. She is growling, hissing, and jabbing to her heart's content.

Good girl. Protect your domain. I praise you because this way I don't have to worry about Farrah helping herself to kitty almond rocca's, dirty clothes, or leather shoes.

Momma loves you for being so fierce.

Jasmine is howling like a banshee. She too is hissing and jabbing away. Earlier tonight she even lunged for Farrah's neck with a little bite.

Don't worry peeps. Both the kitties are declawed and the bite was nothing more than a mouthful of pomeranian fur.

Farrah is holding her own.

It's gonna' be a crazy few days I can tell. I'm betting just about the time they start to get comfortable with each other, Farrah will go home.

Onward to other random items.

Have you tried the new, limited edition summer flavor Pepsi? I did tonight on my way home from Pete's and it was yummy. Just what I need though. Something yummy and full of sugar when I am seriously trying to get my ass back in gear and drop some pounds that somehow just up and came back...all on my ass and thighs...like overnight.

And like my ass and thighs weren't big enough to begin with. The gym will become my very best friend in the weeks to come. I can finally do 20 minutes at 4.0 on a 3.5 incline without getting winded again. Running is still out of the question. Lifting is good to go too.

Pete is challenging me to a game of tennis or racquetball. I'm down and now might be the right time to do it so I won't hurt his ego by beating him.

See if I can't run on the treadmill, how will I be able to keep up on the court like I normally do? I got winded playing hoops with him tonight before dinner and all we were doing was a small game of 1 on 1 in the driveway. I won in horse though.

After bball he grilled burgers and we, along with his roomie and his roomie's son, watched the games...until Pete and I fell asleep on the couch.

Oh yea. That's some exciting times I tell you. I believe I have officially become an old fart I used to make fun of back in the day. Falling asleep on the couch, watching tv, before 9:00 PM.

I'm such a party animal. Getting up at the butt crack of dawn and getting to bed late doesn't help but hey that's what being a responsible adult does for and to you right?

And speaking of sleep, I'm getting up early so I'm out for the night.

Peace and Love Peeps.

Sounds like a good time on the couch. Jamie and I took a nap yesterday afternoon that lasted almost 4 hours. Whose old now?? Yeah me.

I didn't even know there WAS a new flavor of Pepsi.

funny, because as i was reading this post my cats started fighting at the end of the bed....same thing, wrestling and biting each others throats (however, they are also declawed). it's great fun to watch; isn't it? :)
