Most everyone I know is watching the Olympics.
I can't seem to sit still long enough to do so this year.
Don't get me wrong. I'm keeping an eye on the news. I'm paying attention to the medal count.
Yet I am not compelled to watch the athletes in action.
I prefer the summer games to the winter ones and yet, nothing.
Am I alone in this?
Are you watching the games? Are you blogging about them? Twitter is a flutter with updates too.
Maybe I truly am marching to the beat of my very own drum more so than not these days.

I've been watching the gymnastics and the swimming. Olympic bike racing kind of leaves me cold and wandering off to other stations. That and I'm reading a good book that is a distraction.
I would like to see Phelps take home 8 golds. Fingers crossed. BTW he looks much better wet than dry. Just saying.
I think I'm one of probably 5 people in the entire country who have no interest what-so-ever.

Nope, you're not alone. I am worse than you. I may not have known the Olympics were even on until I heard & read so many people excited over them.
