Fun with Fiwa

By now most of you know Fiwa and I met for sushi this past Sunday. If you want to read about her recap, go here.

Let me just say she is adorable. She is as genuine and loving in person as she comes across on her blog and in the comments she leaves.

People say it is a small world all the time. Upon meeting we realized how truly small the world really can be.

As she mentions in her "review", we are both from Texas originally. Transplants unite!

Can y'all believe we live, according to Google directions, 1.1 miles from one another? I knew we lived in the same state and quite possibly the same city but seriously that's like my backyard!

We all know how great this blogging community in which we belong can be. As a matter of fact just the other day I got the best note in the mail from this lovely lady. She has no idea how perfect her timing was.

Now I can add Fiwa to the list of great things in my life as a result of this little ole thing.

Directly upon meeting we hugged. There is no denying I'm a hugger. I'm glad she is too or that might have been a little awkward. Then she handed me . In it was my loot from winning her Friday shuffle game; meeting her was present enough.

I know, I know. You want to know what was in there don't you? There is so much goodness it won't all fit in one frame.

Let me show you my OCD at its best with a list:
  • a fortune cookie (fortune said "Little is known of your behavior, but you have been observed to rock from side to side while singing" {how'd it know that?})
  • pop rocks
  • a funky fresh car air freshener
  • a squeak happy duck
  • 4 personality magnets (love the yellow crazy hair)
  • a hanky
  • blank note cards
  • amazing smelling natural soap
  • sea salt scrub
  • green tea
  • dried cherries

You're going to play from now on aren't you?

We talked. We laughed. We enjoyed some sushi. This is our aftermath. Her selections are on the left and mine are on the right. Missing is her empty bowl of miso soup. Yum-o!

I definitely look forward to the next time we are able to get together. I'm always up for sushi and there certainly is room in my life for good people. She's one of 'em.

Peace and Love Peeps.

I used to get goodie bags like this from someone, but not anymore. All I get is a voicemail talking about Frito Lay and on vacation from October 26-28. If I had an emergency there is another number to call, that's why I eat the competition.

I really screwed up! I thought it was you and brad and Fiwa but thought I had read it on brads earlier in the week or maybe he had mentioned it via im, I dunno, let's put it this way, tuesday there was a strange incident in our little old town, wed I was in the hospital, so my brain is fogged up.
I love the goodies..the airfreshner thing looks cool!! I wanna play!! :)

Sincerely,
Elizabeth
