On Fire

My oh my!

To say I am burning up is an understatement.

After a quick workout this morning, I showered and decided today I would straighten my hair.

I failed to remember how the temperature the apparatus called a straightener makes even the coolest of rooms warm.

Mistake #1 of the day.

Even with the fan directly on me, I was still glistening. Princess retreated to the coolness of the bedroom and Jasmine was nowhere to be found. Usually they are both chilling either in the bathroom or hallway watching me get ready.

Mistake #2? Taking a B50 vitamin and running around like a crazed woman trying to get everything done I needed to before it was time to leave home for the warm office.

Ok, so all parts of the office aren't warm. My area is. In the winter it is cooler than the rest of the office.

It may sound like I am whining but I'm not. Really. It's fact.

I'm gonna' go stick my head in the freezer to cool down, touch up my makeup, and not make any crazed moves for the rest of the day.

How's the weather/temp where you are?

Peace and Love Peeps.

I know - something is seriously wrong in Seattle when you're hot getting dressed. I thought I was back in Texas for a minute!

And it's so smoggy too.

I feel ya...yesterday I washed and straightened my hair but by last night it was sweaty, oily, gross and all I could think was, "I have to go through this again tomorrow??"

Here's to good hair days...
