Saw a sign on the cabana door earlier this week and finally had a chance to talk with management, the pool is closed for the season due to liability.
My summer afternoons spent decompressing with a book in one hand and a jug of water in the other, are no longer as close as my "backyard".
Please forgive me while I pout for a quick minute.

I agree! Especially since there are signs posted everywhere stating swim at your own risk.
Oh heck...liability reasons!? Why build a pool to begin with? Pout on sister, because I too would be seriously bumming if they closed our pool for the remainder of the season...nothing like a book, and some sun in the afternoon.
Now you see how the rest of us feel that don't have poolside service. Oops...I forgot I do have poolside service. I'll finish reading the book you gave me while I work on turning blue.
