Goodbye My Friend

38 Years

When he started with the company, there were only 6 other salesmen in the area. Building the business to what it is today.

Teaching countless others along the way.

Leading by example.

Embracing everyone like a family member.

Making an impact on so many. In ways he will most likely never know.

Goodbye my friend. Hello to your new life.

*************************************************************************************
Know that it was hotter than hell in the room we were in. I had the porn star glow going on. I glistened. I've told y'all I sweat but last night, I was dripping. I wasn't the only one but I think I was the worst one.

In case you were wondering if the commercials for Bare Minerals told the truth, you have now seen the results first hand. See the hyper pigmentation on my forehead in the above picture? Remember the picture from the other day? Where you didn't see it? Believe the hype.

We snarfed on seafood. I had the stuffed prawns with green beans and wild rice. The award winning chowder was uber yummy.

T, we're going back when you get here. Kim and Tina, Look away. It's yet another seafood picture. Hey, I live in the PacNW. What do you expect? :)

I played photographer for the event and managed to get pictures of everyone in attendance. All 70+.

I also worked the room and made sure to talk with all of the retirees in attendance. I have nothing but mad love and respect for the trails they blazed, for the people they are. So much wisdom and history to glean from them.

I love that our company continues to invite them to all of the holiday celebrations. It is fun for them and honestly I get more from them than they get from me. I even have a new workout partner this year from last year's winter celebration. Steve and I meet at least once a month when I am in town and either work out at 24 Hour Fitness or we walk the pier and boardwalk at Redondo Beach.

Anywho, the party was good. Laughter, good food, memories shared...Good Times.

I'm off like a dirty shirt to do all the stuff I need to do around here. The domestic stuff. Laundry, grocery shopping, house cleaning. Blah, Blah, Blah.

And feel like a piss poor mama because the love kitty is having trouble pooing. I didn't give her the fiber pill a couple of times this week. I meant to stop by the vet's office this week to get a new bottle but time got away from me. And knowing I only had a few left, I spaced them out. Obviously I spaced them out a little too much because she is having issues today.

Peace and Love Peeps.

You still look like a sexy bitch.

You must work for a great company if he stayed that long. I mean I know ya work for a great company but they must be really good to their employees for someone to stick it out that long. Good for you!

Sorry bout your kitty. Give him sardines. That's what my mom useto do. *crinkles nose*
